Mason City theaters, the Bijou [first theater in Mason City] and the Regent [later renamed the Palace] were owned/managed by John McKee Heffner [no relation to Hugh]. The Robert-Morton organ was in one of these theaters. The Bijou was closed in 1910 and later razed (parking lot now in its space). No additional information is known.
